How These Estimates Work

If you enter body fat percentage directly, the estimator uses it as the primary anchor for fat mass, fat-free mass, water, muscle, protein, and bone estimates. If you do not enter body fat percentage, the tool estimates it using optional circumference measurements or the primary anthropometric inputs. Visceral and subcutaneous fat values are modeled estimates, not direct scans.

This reflects the broader Affluent Fitness approach to evidence-based fitness: body composition is influenced by training, nutrition, recovery, hydration, and lifestyle together, not one isolated number.
